Local Church Updates
We will have local church updates listed here.  We will also list singings of organizations that support our station for their event.

Local church updates is a free service to our area churches to announce their events.  We do not provide free announcements for activities that are sponsored by other groups, or for which there is a charge or if a designated donation is taken at the door. 

In order for an announcement to be on the air, or listed here for free, we must receive written information at least two weeks prior to the date of event.  It must be clearly submitted by the local church.  We reserve the right to revise or refuse any or all
announcements.

You must include in the email:
     1.  The name of the church
     2.  The event
     3.  The date and time
     4.  The Pastor's name
     5.  The contact person at the church
     6.  The statement that there is no charge of any kind for the event.

If any of the above is not included, your announcement may not be used.

Benefits Available to Supporting Churches
For all churches that support 91.7, the Gospel for $50.00 per month, or more, will receive the following benefits:

1.  Priority placement on Local Church Updates. 
     We are going to replace "Church Happenings" with spots throughout the day, and it will be called "Local Church Updates."  Some will be during the drive times, and our supporting churches will be given first priority.  Also, if we are unable to place all announcements, our supporting churches will be given first preference. 

2.  Easier communication.
     Instead of mailing, or emailing the announcement two weeks in advance, our supporting churches may call the station just one week before the event.  Just ask for Shellie.  You may also email the event one week in advance.  Although, the earlier you get the event to us, the better it is for our production staff.

3.  Discount on promotional event spots
     If a supporting church is charging for an event, or they wish to promote their event beyond the free provision, discounted spot fees will be available as follows:
    
Anytime spots      - $ 7 (30 seconds)     $15 (up to one minute)
Drive time spots   - $10 (30 seconds)     $20 (up to one minute)

For those events that have a charge for those that attend, or just the desire of a ministry to have extra radio exposure for an event, the following fees will be charged:

Anytime spots      - $10 (30 seconds)     $20 (up to one minute)
Drive time spots   - $15 (30 seconds)     $25 (up to one minute)
